Ketel One Vodka is the number one vodka in the United States and is produced by the Nolet family from Schiedam. In the 1980s, Carel Nolet brought his vodka to San Francisco and brought it to a bar where many bartenders gathered for an after-work drink. The bartenders were impressed by the Dutch craftsmanship, and Ketel One became a huge success.
